ORION Precautions during COVID-19

As the community navigates the ever-changing climate of the COVID-19 Corona Virus updates and in response to the most recent directives from the Governor and both Marin and Sonoma Counties shifting to an "essential services only" operations model beginning March 17th, 2020 until further notice we would like to reassure you that ORION Protection Services IS considered essential services and is committed to providing your contracted services during this time. 

Given the current ongoing public health crisis, we wanted to ensure you that we are taking all the safety precautions seriously in keeping all of our employees and community safe. Our night patrol vehicles are already equipped with law enforcement grade medical gloves and have always had hand sanitizer available to them. They are being asked not to touch doors unless absolutely necessary and when doing so using their gloves and sanitizer. Dispatch is still available to receive and dispatch calls, guards are still out performing their duties and office administration is working remotely in ensuring our staff and clients have what they need to feel safe during this time of collective uncertainty.

Police departments have implemented service strategies that reduce face-to-face contact between their staff and the community they serve. In solidarity, for the safety of our staff, their staff, and the community, ORION guards are also reducing their face-to-face contact and will only contact your local authorities for emergency and urgent situations.
