Licensed Security Officer
Security Officers are the front line of protection for Orion's clients. Officers monitor activity, patrol properties, greet guests, log incidents, and maintain a visible deterrent against safety risks, fire hazards, and trespassing.
Key Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Active California Guard Card (Or willingness to obtain one)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Outstanding customer service and people skills
- Clean background check and drug screen
Mobile Patrol Officer
Mobile Patrol Officers operate company vehicles to perform perimeter inspections, lock/unlock client gates, respond to alarm activations, and verify safety measures across residential and commercial properties in Marin and Sonoma County.
Key Requirements
- Active California Guard Card (Required)
- Valid CA Driver's License & clean driving record (No DUIs)
- At least 21 years of age (For auto insurance purposes)
- Previous security or military experience preferred
- Familiarity with digital reporting/GPS logging tools
- Comfortable with overnight and late-shift assignments
- Outstanding customer service and people skills
On-Call Event Security
On-Call Officers pick up short-notice assignments as they come in: concerts, fairs, festivals, weddings, corporate and private events, school functions, fire watch coverage, and other one-off posts across Marin and Sonoma County. Great for officers who want flexible work or extra shifts alongside another schedule.
Key Requirements
- Active California Guard Card (Or willingness to obtain one)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to respond to short-notice coverage requests
- Comfortable with crowds, check-in, and access control
- Outstanding customer service and people skills
- Clean background check and drug screen
